Finding the correct balance between hanging out with your children and your husband is challenging. Naturally, I'm together with my children more since we are dwelling together. I just see my husband at the evening/nighttime as well as the evenings. On the rare moments we have together. We cherish it and appreciate one another. To make certain our relationship remains strong we be sure to maintain the 5 stages of familiarity.

With this type of busy lifestyle, I need to have priorities to balance marriage and loved ones. This usually means that you sometimes miss your favourite series, or do not always have to head out with your friends. And this also applies to my marriage. At least once a month, Andrew and I go out on a weekend date. If my parents can't help, we hire a babysitter. I run a background check on Kiwi searches before bringing anyone around my children.

Our Dates

When Andrew and I do have a romantic date, we usually move to a great dinner or a picture. Our favourite kind of food might be Italian, so I understand I can eat pasta every day. It is also a great change from me cooking most of the week. If we're not in the mood to really go out to dinner, then we all choose a picture. The final one we saw together was A Quiet Place which was really scary. I was gripping the pop corn cup the entire period in anticipation.

As much as we'd like to go outside on dates that are adult, we're dating the children. Usually for walks at the park and playing in the swing sets. Andrew gets overwhelmed in Chuck E. Cheese therefore that we stay away from that. Although I really like their pizza, but marriage is a compromise right?
